Stairlift Board Repairs

M.R. Electronics fit an SSR upgrade in place of existing relays. The SSR is now being used on all new Acorn boards from the manufacturer. The SSR is basically an electronic version of a relay but avoids the issues of arcing or sticking mechanical contacts. Sticking relays are known to cause F1 relay faults on Acorn stairlift boards.
